You Can Make It unfolds like a stream of consciousness, rendered across a muted mauve ground that feels both intimate and expansive. Jake Hal builds the composition through layered oil washes, floating patches of pigment, and restless linear marks that wander, loop, and collide. The surface has the fragile, textural quality of something handwritten and half-erased a diary page stretched across a canvas.

The painting is anchored by a sinuous cream-and-black serpentine form that travels vertically through the right side of the composition. tI feels part-organic, part-energetic a pulse, a river, a spine. Opposite it, a constellation of small motifs emerges: scribbled equations, hovering circles of blue and green, loose architectural shapes, and delicate cross-hatching. These symbols sit in the space between figuration and abstraction, reminiscent of the playful improvisation of Miró or Paul Klee.

At the centre stands a barely-formed figure, sketched with minimal strokes, head bowed beneath an arched, dome-like structure. Whether this dome is a shelter, a cage, or a metaphorical weight is left deliberately open. The contrast between the delicate figure and the confident, sweeping marks around them creates a powerful tension: the human form inside a storm of thought.

Hall’s use of oil is unorthodox thin in places, chalky in others, alternately gestural and precise. The layered textures, incidental marks, and visual noise form an emotional landscape rather than a literal scene.

We aim to deliver all Artwork within 4 weeks of cleared payment. This window allows for professional archival packing, bespoke framing (where applicable), and specialist courier scheduling. We will notify you of any unforeseen delays.

Shipping: We arrange specialist art couriers for global delivery. Shipping costs and insurance will be quoted separately unless otherwise stated.

International Delivery: Entitled1 acts as the exporter. It is your responsibility to ensure the Artwork can be legally imported into your destination country.

COLLECTION

You may opt to collect your Artwork from our London office by prior appointment. Collection must occur within 14 days of notification that the Artwork is ready.

CANCELLATIONS

For online or telephone purchases only, UK consumers have the right to cancel within 14 days of receipt.

Exclusions: This right does not apply to:

• Artwork purchased or viewed in person prior to purchase.
• Bespoke, commissioned, or personalized pieces (including custom framing).

RETURNS

Artwork must be returned in its original condition and packaging. You are responsible for return shipping costs and must use a specialist art courier. We recommend insuring the return for the full value.

Do the artworks come with Certificates of Authenticity?

Yes. All of our artworks are accompanied by a relevant, hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity. This verifies the originality of the piece and provides assurance of its provenance.

What if my artwork arrives damaged?

We kindly ask that you inspect your artwork within 48 hours of delivery. If your piece arrives damaged, please notify us within this timeframe and provide clear photographs of both the artwork and the packaging.

We take every possible care to ensure your artwork is packaged securely and arrives in perfect condition. However, in the unlikely event that damage occurs during transit, we will work with you promptly to resolve the issue as quickly and smoothly as possible.
