Above The Surface

In Above the Surface, layered bands of deep black and electric blue form a shifting, mosaic-like grid that pulses with rhythm and tension. Each small, hand-drawn cel carries slight variations subtle bends, uneven edges, and visible brushstrokes that reveal the artist’s insistence on human imperfection within a seemingly mechanical structure.

The alternating colour fields read like rising and receding tides, or coded signals breaking through static. The black zones compress the composition inward, while the blue passages expand it outward, creating a visual breathing pattern across the canvas. The thin white lines separating each block act as connective tissue, suggesting architecture, mapping, or the underlying circuitry of contemporary life.

Above the Surface speaks to the conflict between order and intuition, repetition and disruption. Despite its grid-based logic, the work resists uniformity reminding the viewer that what appears systematic is always charged with emotion, gesture, and the unseen movements that exist just beneath the surface.

DELIVERY

We aim to deliver all Artwork within 4 weeks of cleared payment. This window allows for professional archival packing, bespoke framing (where applicable), and specialist courier scheduling. We will notify you of any unforeseen delays.

Shipping: We arrange specialist art couriers for global delivery. Shipping costs and insurance will be quoted separately unless otherwise stated.

International Delivery: Entitled1 acts as the exporter. It is your responsibility to ensure the Artwork can be legally imported into your destination country.

COLLECTION

You may opt to collect your Artwork from our London office by prior appointment. Collection must occur within 14 days of notification that the Artwork is ready.

CANCELLATIONS

For online or telephone purchases only, UK consumers have the right to cancel within 14 days of receipt.

Exclusions: This right does not apply to:

• Artwork purchased or viewed in person prior to purchase.
• Bespoke, commissioned, or personalized pieces (including custom framing).

RETURNS

Artwork must be returned in its original condition and packaging. You are responsible for return shipping costs and must use a specialist art courier. We recommend insuring the return for the full value.

Price is inclusive of shipping and insurance unless otherwise stated.

Do the artworks come with Certificates of Authenticity?

Yes. All of our artworks are accompanied by a relevant, hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity. This verifies the originality of the piece and provides assurance of its provenance.

What if my artwork arrives damaged?

We kindly ask that you inspect your artwork within 48 hours of delivery. If your piece arrives damaged, please notify us within this timeframe and provide clear photographs of both the artwork and the packaging.

We take every possible care to ensure your artwork is packaged securely and arrives in perfect condition. However, in the unlikely event that damage occurs during transit, we will work with you promptly to resolve the issue as quickly and smoothly as possible.
